Mighty Swim

Mighty Swim

When the heavens meet the ocean
and the waves become the sky,
I’ll swim between the buildings
deep in the breeze I’ll glide.
Liquid lungs will breathe,
silent words will speak,
ears hear past sight,
eyes kiss souls on the brink
of realization, trapped
by this atmosphere
wanting nothing more than
to swim freely without fear.
I’ll turn on a mighty faucet,
empty the world into space,
where souls and matter collide
without worldly restraint.
